Aims & Scope
Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry (CRGSC) is a new primary research, gold open access journal from Elsevier.
CRGSC publishes original papers and short communications (including viewpoints and perspectives) resulting from research in green and sustainable chemistry and associated disciplines.
Review articles are also welcome, but only after consultation with the Editor.
Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry is a peer-reviewed gold open access (OA) journal and upon acceptance all articles are permanently and freely available.
It is a companion to the highly regarded review journal Current Opinion in Green and Sustainable Chemistry (2018 CiteScore 4.36) and is part of the Current Opinion and Research (CO+RE) suite of journals.
All CO+RE journals leverage the Current Opinion legacy of editorial excellence, high-impact, and global reach to ensure they are a widely-read resource that is integral to scientists' workflows.
Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry covers latest developments in: circular, sustainable, chemical processes and recycling; waste minimisation; renewable resources and sustainable materials, biorefineries and biomass valorisation; CO2 capture, storage and utilisation; green solvents; catalysis; green processes, technologies and engineering; green metrics; renewable energy and storage; life cycle assessment, and; new business models, ethics, legislation and economics.
Criteria for publication are quality, novelty, and impact.
Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry builds on Elsevier's reputation for excellence in scientific publishing and long-standing commitment to communicating reproducible chemistry research targeted at improving human health.
