Aims & Scope
At Discovery Immunology, we aim to publish high-quality articles describing novel mechanisms controlling the immune response in humans and animals.
While these will often describe basic aspects of cellular or molecular immunology, we also welcome articles describing discovery science with relevance to infection biology, inflammation or immune-mediated pathogenesis.
We welcome original research, review papers, commentaries, perspectives and invited editorials.
We also consider short reports that describe significant advances in an area of immunology.
Studies describing mechanisms relevant to translational or clinical immunology, or immunotherapy may be more suitable for our sibling journals Clinical & Experimental Immunology and Immunotherapy Advances.
For details on peer review, article types and the submission process, please refer to the author guidelines.
Discovery Immunology is the newest journal in the BSI family of journals, alongside Clinical & Experimental Immunology and Immunotherapy Advances.
BSI members are entitled to a discounted Open Access fee, and profits derived from the BSI journals provide support for the Society's activities.
All papers published in Discovery Immunology now benefit from indexing in the Directory of Open Access Journals and PubMed Central.
