JCI Insight

Papers submitted to JCI Insight should present a focused line of investigation that provides meaningful and impactful contributions to the understanding of the biology of disease or new therapeutic opportunities. JCI Insight articles may build on existing paradigms in the field or provide hypothesis-generating findings (see editorial). Examples of studies suitable for JCI Insight include, but are not limited to, human genetics research, new mouse models of disease, in vivo studies of disease mechanisms, precision medicine, clinical and biomarker studies, and studies that provide new resources for the biomedical research community. Studies should include a relevant in vivo model system and/or a primary human cell or tissue model.
