Bulk Scopus Checker

Check up to 100 DOIs or paper titles at once: Scopus indexing, journal quartile, citations and Scopus status, with Excel download.

Paste DOIs or paper titles (one per line)

0 / 100 lines

DOIs give exact matches. Titles are matched by similarity; close matches are marked Possible match so you can verify them.

Who uses the Bulk Scopus Checker?

  • IQAC and research offices: verify department publication lists for NAAC, NIRF and annual reports.
  • Faculty: prepare CAS promotion and API score files with Scopus proof and journal quartiles.
  • Recruitment and PhD committees: check a candidate's "Scopus indexed" claims in minutes.
  • Journal editors and publishers: confirm that published issues are being indexed in Scopus.

How it works

  1. Paste DOIs (with or without https://doi.org/) or paper titles, one per line, up to 100 lines.
  2. Each line is checked against the official Scopus database.
  3. Every match shows the journal's quartile (Q1 to Q4) and Scopus status, so papers in discontinued journals stand out.
  4. Download the table as Excel (CSV) or save it as PDF.

Checking a single paper? Use Scopus Search. Checking a journal? Use the Scopus Status Checker.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check if multiple papers are indexed in Scopus?

Paste up to 100 DOIs or paper titles into the Bulk Scopus Checker, one per line, and click "Check in Scopus". Each line is matched against the Scopus database and you get a table showing which papers are indexed, with journal, year, citations, journal quartile and Scopus status.

Should I use DOIs or titles?

DOIs give an exact match and are checked fastest. Use titles only when a paper has no DOI; titles are matched by similarity and close matches are marked "Possible match" for you to verify.

Can I download the results in Excel?

Yes. Click "Download Excel (CSV)" to save the full results table. The file opens directly in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Is this useful for NAAC, NIRF and API score documentation?

Yes. IQAC teams, faculty and research offices use bulk checks to verify which publications are Scopus indexed, and the journal quartile helps when preparing NAAC, NIRF, CAS promotion and API score files. Always keep the Scopus link for each paper as proof.

What does "journal discontinued" mean in the results?

It means the journal is on the Scopus discontinued list. Papers published up to the journal's final covered issue remain in Scopus, but later papers are not indexed. Check the details on our Scopus Discontinued List.

Is the Bulk Scopus Checker free?

Yes, it is free with no login. To keep the service fast for everyone, each check is limited to 100 lines.
